and it was totally amazing.
I’ve never been so invested in a ship happening before. Well maybe once upon a time, with glee, when I still loved it. And that was only because it was Kurt who is definitely the only character i’m really invested in, for reasons i shall not share.
ANYWAYYYYY
no so amazing dream. i think i took turns being nick and jess and then omnicient viewer. i can’t spell that word and i don’t feel like looking it up.
i believe my dream was a christmas one, though i really can’t be sure. i do know there was a date, and a kiss, and certainly some other stuff, though itd be awkward to go into detail with that, but not too much more.
why did i dream a ‘ness’ dream?it is friday. i have not seen the show since last week tuesday, because i missed it this week tuesday. and then i didnt want to wake up. and when i did i was sad, and i was also reminded to get onto hulu to watch what i missed.
and then it got me into looking at interviews and stuff on hulu and seeing the whole comment on the ‘disgusting’ fanfictions out there, which further made me look into fanfictions out there, because i didnt know there were fanfictions out there to begin with, and afterward made me very happy to know that i am no alone in pining over Nick-Jess-ness.—- NESSness. yes.
now i know i am not alone when i look for ness moments each week when the show comes on. lalalalala
ok i am done ranting. share some thoughts and dreams if you will. i know i’m not totally weird for dreaming of ness. its happened to others before, and it will happen to others again. :P
i think im going to take my permit test nxt week. gotta study a little now.
anywho, i hope to see u again soon, after dealing with a couple of things
1. During a critique of a student’s work, in front of the whole class, half-jokingly-though most-likely-meaning-it, say “You need to see a shrink.”
2. Warn the rest of the class half-jokingly-though most-likely-meaning-it, to beware of said student because the work shown could be interpreted as slightly disturbed.
3. Not show up to class. Without sending notification to the class. Or consider their absence as your absence as well.
4. Show up to class forty minutes late on an exam day, give a lesson, and then leave the exam for the last fifteen minutes of class.
5. Be so obtuse and close-minded and think that their way is the only way, especially in a creative/artistic course, where things may be done to your own aesthetic pleasure and expression.
kthanks professors, I really feel my money is well spent!
oh and no said student wasn’t me!
Once, I was lost
to the point of disgust.
I had in my sight
lack of vision,
lack of light.
I fell hard,
I fell fast.
Mercy me,
it’ll never last.
Then, in the dust,
all the things
we discussed,
were thrown to the wind.
So at last
we begin.
We fall hard,
we fall fast.
Mercy me,
it’ll never last
New favorite song. Found it watching Skins, U.K. season 1 or 2- can’t remember. “Point of Disgust” by Low.
colemen:
I have to be honest. When I first saw this, I thought it was some generic message thing that had to do with the quote alone. However, it was brought to my attention that this is from a Borders store. I have to say, this is the saddest thing I have seen all day, maybe even all week.
I’d like to personally thank the creators of the Kindle and Nook for this atrocity.
…I have no words.
digital books can’t beat the smell and feel of real books
RIP Borders
this is just sad. some day books will be antiques, in museums. untouchables to preserve as memories. you can’t smell the smell of a page on an ereader, and you can’t feel the letters under your fingertips, and you definitely cant appreciate the worn down with love look of dog eared pages and crinkling binding edges. and book stores are amazing places to sit and immerse yourself in something wonderful.
